Cultural Program
On the 15th August 2021, One of our Esteemed Trustee Members celebrated her birthday with us. The children arranged a small culture program in the evening. The Management committee gave snacks to the children. It was a fun celebration for all!

75th Independence Day
On the 15th August 2021, FTBK Charitable Trust celebrated India's 75th Independence Day at our Children’s Home Campus. Members of the the Rotary Club of Behala joined with us to celebrate this special Independence Day. The chief guest Mr. Soumajit Mukherjee, President of Rotary Club of Behala hoisted the flag. After this ceremony, the children’s home children performed dances and songs. Then the Rotary Club of Behala and FTBK jointly celebrated with a Tree Plantation Festival in our Campus Ground. We sincerely appreciate everyones participation in this event!


Birthday Party
Within our Children's Home we enjoyed a Birthday Party for a number of the children! Sharing Cake and Gifts is always a wonderful way to celebrate together!


July Computer Classes
After a long time we were again able to start our Computer Classes for Youth in our Community. Due to COVID-19, classes had been closed. It was great to see all these faces again and help them on the education journey.

July Literacy Classes
In July 2021 at Krishnarampur village we started our Literacy classes again for women. Previously the classes had been closed due to COVID-19. It is so wonderful to be able to support women in the Community again in this way!

Covid Relief July 2021
On the 7th July 2021, Free To Be Kids Charitable Trust distributed ration items in the Salt Lake Slum area, 434 families benefited from this ration distribution relief work. In this pandemic season, many of those living in the slums are jobless. Free To Be Kids Charitable Trust took the initiative to help support these people.




July Report on Education & Nutrition Program
Free To Be Kids Charitable Trust provided education & meals to the slum children living in the Salt Lake Area in the month of July 2021. A total of 105 children regularly attended our Education Program and 160 children participated in our Nutrition Program. We distributed 813 meals to these children in need.



12th Class Pass
This July 2021, we were so proud to receive the official news that 2 of our CCI Residents have successfully completed their 12th Class from the Central Board of Secondary Education. Both students were studying in a local English medium school. We wish them both well in their future!

BE FREE
On the 10th July 2021, our FTBK Children’s Home Counsellor took a group session with all the children. Our Counsellor instructed the children on how to make a Butterfly Kite and taught on the theme of BE FREE. After making their creative kites the children explained to their peers about what it means to them to BE FREE!

Indoor Play Activities
The residents of Girls Home enjoy their free time activities and their favourite things to do are using the computers and playing games with their friends! Everyone needs opportunities to develop friendships and to relax during the day and refresh for tomorrow!
