CWC Visit
In December 2021 our Children’s Home Home Superintendent visited the Child Welfare Committee - Kolkata for an official visit. On this day our Children’s Home had the chance to congratulate the new board members on their positions and present them with a small gift. We appreciate the hard work that each member does to ensure that Children are safe and that they are ready for their best future!

Recognition of Work
In November 2021 Free Be Kids Charitable Trust's Managing Trustee received felicitation from the Rangamala Memorial Development Incentive. This organisation felicitated him for his work with underprivileged child in the society. We are so honoured to receive this award for all the hard work that we have been doing to lift up our Community!

English Classes in November 2021
We continued our English classes at Krishnarampur village, 127 Children attended this English class in the month of November. Every week, our FTBK team take the time to teach the children who are really enjoying these classes and the opportunity to be together with their friends!


November 2021 Computer Classes for Youth
In the month of November 2021 we continued our Computer class for Youth in the Community. 32 Youth were attending these computer classes. We were very proud to also give out Computer Certificates to our previous graduates.

November 2021 Literacy Training
In the Month of November 2021 in our Krishnarampur Village Literacy Classes we worked with a total of 49 women. These women are part of our continual Literacy Project in this area that is supported by the Rotary Club Behala.

November 2021 Education & Nutrition Program
Free To Be Kids Charitable Trust provided Education & Nutrition to Children living in the slums in the Salt Lake Area in the month of November 2021. A total of 158 Children were regularly attending the Education Program and 169 children attended the Nutrition Program. We distributed a total of 1581 meals in this month.

Trauma Informed Care
Our Social Worker and Counsellor attended 2days of training via digital platform. This training was organised by International Justice Mission (IJM) on the subject of Trauma Informed Care. Mrs. Elizabeth V Koshy presented a great level of informative training during these 6 sessions. Government Stakeholders and other organisations attended this training.

Children's Day
This year we had a wonderful celebration of Children's Day in throughout our Projects in Residential Care and also in the Community! Our FTBK project staff and children’s home children celebrated at our campus with dance and song performances. Everyone enjoyed special snacks & dinner together and each child received a small gift to celebrate this occasion. In our community projects every child was celebrated and reminded of their value and worth. The children joyfully received the gift of snacks!



Glasses Support
FTBK Charitable Trust arranged a free eye camp at Krishnarampur village in association with the Sunderban Eye Hospital, after the eye test, a few villagers were gifted a Cataract Operation at the Sunderban Eye Hospital, free of cost. FTBK Charitable Trust has further helped one lady with the purchase of glasses. This gift of better sight has the potential to really change the lives of each beneficiary.

October 2021 English Classes in the Community
The FTBK Charitable Trust is running a community English class at Krishnarampur village. In the month of October, 127 children attended these English classes. Our FTBK team teach the children for their education and enjoyment.
