As a special gift to commemorate this celebration the Rotary Club of Behala arranged a small awareness program about the importance of using cloth bags rather than plastics. Family Based Support
We are happy to work in the Community with those who need a simple but significant helping hand. Sometimes in providing something as simple as a Sewing Machine we can significantly change the life of an individual or a family for the better. One such woman, who we were able to support throughout her education, and give training in tailoring, has now received the support of a sewing machine from our Trust. We were happy to help to support in this way as she and her husband were facing financial issues and requested our support for the strengthening of their family. This family unit shared with our team that in their locality tailoring work is very good, and with a machine she can earn money on a daily basis. In response to this, on the 17th June FTBK Charitable Trust happily supported this family by gifting them with a Sewing Machine to be used for the strengthening of their family.

Class 10 Success in the Community
Some of the support that we give in focussed on Children in the Community who want to study but are unable to manage the fees and resources it takes to fulfil their dreams. We are happy to say that one girl in our Community recently passed her Class 10 Board exams with 2nd division marks. After loss of family income, due to the pandemic, FTBK stood beside this girl and kept supporting her for her future. Her new admission into class 11 & purchase of books has been done with the support of FTBK. We are happy to sponsor the education of such a worthy recipient.
