Free To Be Kids always try to fulfil a child's dream. We are supporting one young adult with Training, Food and Accommodation. Through our support he completed his class 10 standard in this year and now he has a dream of becoming a Hair Dresser. He is now attending a diploma in Hair Designing from Keya Seth College of Beauty. In addition to this, FTBK has arranged special classes for him to put into practice his newly acquired skills. We are happy to support him in getting one step closer to his dreams fulfilled.

New Car

We are so thankful to our generous donors that supported us to purchase a necessary new vehicle for our work. Often our work takes us remote villages for community visits, home & social investigations and follow up visits for recently reintegrated children. This vehicle is necessary to achieve our goals to support children and families in need in both our Residential Care setting and within our Community Projects.

Independence Day 2022

Free To Be Kids Charitable Trust celebrated Independence Day within our community Programs. This year the Rotary Club of Behala joined with us to celebrate. The Chief guest, Mr. Bikash Dutta & others members of Rotary Club of Behala, hoisted the flag. After that the community children performed dances and songs. As a special gift to commemorate this celebration the Rotary Club of Behala arranged a small awareness program about the importance of using cloth bags rather than plastics. The members clearly explained the disadvantages of the use of plastic bags and the impact on our environment and health.  After that rotary club generously distributed cloth bags to all children & mothers that were present. We are very grateful to the Rotary Club for this lasting gift and encouragement to be kind to our planet.
