The FTBK team accompanied five special beneficiaries to the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy for medical consultation and expert guidance. During the visit, the children received special education support and professional assessment from the specialists. Parents were also guided on how to better care for their children and support their development at home.

The FTBK team and parents were sensitized about important government support schemes such as Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme. Parents were encouraged to update their children’s disability certificates and apply for the Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card so that they can access available benefits. All beneficiaries were also advised to stay connected with the institute and visit at least once every three months for regular follow-up and better support for the children’s overall development.
